Women's Circles

 

All women of the church are members of “Presbyterian Women.” You are invited to join a circle group at any time.

​

Back in the 1800’s women fed traveling pastors, or newcomers to the prairie towns. Many small towns shared a minister and the women saw to it that he had a place to stay and food. Later, orphanages needed help. Just imagine a problem, and women were there.

​

At Calvin Presbyterian Church the women perform mission projects in the areas of:

​

• Retreat (sleepover)

• Birthday Offering

• Meals-on-Wheels

• Thanks Offering

• Luncheon for funerals, when asked

• Presbytery level luncheon, when asked

• Christmas Banquet

 

Daytime Circle

Morning Circle meets the second Thursday afternoon of the month at 1:00 PM at Passavant for study, mission work, and fun.

Open Circle

Open Circle meets the fourth Tuesday evening of the month at 7:30 PM.
