Our Educational Philosophy
Knowing that the foundation we give our children ensures their future, as well as the future of our community, our teachers integrate a combination of structured lessons with direct instruction, creative plans, and cooperative learning.
Children are encouraged to learn through “hands-on” experiences, and through interaction with others
in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that builds intellectual, physical, and relational skills.

The Zelienople Preschool is a ministry of Calvin Presbyterian Church, but it is run as a non-profit, non-denominational preschool administered by a Board of Directors comprised of parents and professional members of the community.

The school is licensed by the state and has been in operation for 50 years.

The school is located at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 East Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.

Our students come to us from a variety of communities including Zelienople, Harmony, Evans City, Cranberry Township, Ellwood City, Fombell, New Brighton, Portersville, Prospect and Rochester.

Zelienople Preschool offers multiple up-to-date security measures to keep your child safe. It is our priority.
